When the chain link door closed, cold reality sank in: Electra’s family was leaving her here at this strange, scary shelter, and they were not coming back for her.
Fortunately, the video of her heart-wrenching reaction went viral and she was quickly adopted.

Electra was brought to the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA in California, and was then sent to stay with foster mom Adriane Silvano. She immediately fell for this blue gal’s expressive face and decided to make it official.
“The first time I saw her – aw! – I just fell in love with her, and I knew it was going to be a foster failure,” Silvano told Fox8.
